McKenna III

James “Tres” F. McKenna III, 44, of Bridgeport, the son of James F. McKenna, Jr, and the late Mary Lou McKenna, died suddenly, October 25, in Bridgeport. Born in Texas City, Texas, he was a graduate of Ridgefield High School, where he was involved in the theater. A Generous Heart

In addition to his father, he is survived by his stepmother, Barbara McKenna of Redding Ridge; five siblings, including stepsister Elizabeth Parsons of Newtown; many nieces and nephews; and friends. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his brother, Mark.

Mr McKenna became an actor and appeared with several local production groups. He was a sports enthusiast with an encyclopedic memory of anything that involved Boston baseball or Boston football.

A Celebration of his Life will be held in his honor, Saturday, November 6, at 5 pm, at Ray Kelly’s Pub, 2720 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport.

Donations may be made in his memory to St Jude Children Research Hospital, Memorial and Honor Program, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-1942.
