EWN Two-Part Talk On

 ‘How To Get Published’

Norwalk — Do you have a story or a unique business angle you want to convey to potential customers or other businesses? Communications and publishing can be the keys needed to open the door to cultivate your business to the next level.

In Part I of a two-section Entrepreneurial Woman’s Network (EWN) Morning Workshop series on “How to Get Published,” Deirdre Silberstein and Ellin Yassky will utilize more than 55 years of combined writing and publishing knowledge to focus with attendees on publishing avenues such as articles, books, blogs, and social networking sites to boost exposure and increase business.

The full-breakfast buffet event will take place from 8:15 to 11:15 am on Friday, November 6, at the Norwalk Inn & Conference Center, 99 East Avenue.

Ms Silberstein and Ms Yassky will help attendees determine the right communications tools for their businesses. Discussion points will be:

* Are you being quoted in newspapers and magazines?

* What is stopping you from blogging?

* Do you want to publish a book online or off-line?

* How do you attract followers on Twitter?

* And, most importantly, are you ready to take your business to the next level?

Attendees will delve into how to build images and reputations through publishing and effective communications, how to create a compelling message, the latest tools available, and how to create a marketing program.

Anyone interested in attending the event, paid reservations must be received by 5 pm, Wednesday, November 4. The EWN Morning Workshop is $45 with EWN members paying the member discounted fee of $25.

An additional $5 “walk-in” fee will be charged for guests and EWN members if not registered by the reservations deadline. Reservations not received by the deadline will be accepted on a “space available basis.”

All reservations must be made online at www.ewn-ct.org. For more information, contact the EWN administrator at 203-222-3404 or info@ewn-ct.org.
