Tough Times For Republicans

To the Editor:

My thanks to the people of Newtown for considering me for the position of state representative, particularly to those who voted for me.

My further thanks to all my supporters. To those supporters, I state that we need not second guess our efforts and approach; simply put, this was a tough time to be a Republican challenger, even an independent-minded one.

I congratulate Chris Lyddy, as I did in person election night, and wish him well in Hartford.
