David F. French, Jr, 41, of Newtown, died suddenly on November 6. Born in Danbury on March 25, 1966, he was the son of David and Carol French.

In addition to his parents, Mr French’s survivors include his beloved wife, Terri Mikita French; his cherished children Hunter and Casey; a brother, Mike; and several extended family members.

A 1984 graduate of Newtown High School, Mr French was a local builder and developer. He was president of the Newtown Fish & Game Club. He was well-known throughout the community as an avid hunter and fisherman who loved to travel the world. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Calling hours are Friday, November 9, from 4 to 8 pm, at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street. Internment is private.
