Adventures Beyond Africa’s Last Frontier

The intrepid travelers, Dr Milton Clark and his wife Wendy, will be returning to the C.H. Booth Library Tuesday, November 30, for their third and final talk and slide show. It is scheduled to begin at 7:30 pm. This time around the Clarks will focus on Ethiopia, adventures beyond Africa’s last frontier.

This fantastic adventure was the second trip to Ethiopia for the Clarks. They ventured into some of the least explored, remote, and isolated regions to photograph the primitive and violent Serma tribe with their many bizarre customs. Also, climbing among the breathtaking escarpments and peaks of the rugged Simien mountains, they summitted Ras Dashon, one of the highest in Africa. Their adventures included the Awash and Bali mountains with their rare wildlife and other tribal people.

This program is free and refreshments will be served. Call the library at 426-4533 to reserve a place or with any questions.
