Josephine Corrigan

Josephine Corrigan, 92, of White Street, Danbury, died peacefully November 9 at her home after a long illness.

Born in Middletown and formerly of Southbury and Newtown, she worked in the restaurant business for the past 68 years. She was the owner of the Sandy Hook Diner and co-owner of Laurel Diner in Southbury. Her hobbies included fishing.

Among her survivors are a son, Robert Corrigan of Southbury; three granddaughters; and a niece and a nephew.

Services for Mrs Corrigan were held Thursday, November 11, at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main Street North/Route 6. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery, Southbury.
