Holiday Cards For Troops In Iraq

During the holidays it is even harder than usual for the men and women serving in Iraq to be away from their homes and families. Several Newtown Savings Bank employees came up with the idea of setting up holiday card writing stations in each branch location, giving both customers and employees the opportunity to send a heartfelt message to the troops.

Newtown Savings Bank will provide an assortment of holiday cards and handle the delivery through a local agency. In order to ensure timely delivery, the last day to stop by one of their nine locations will be Friday November 19. Branches are located in Newtown on Main Street and at Sand Hill Plaza, and in Bethel, Danbury, Monroe, Southbury, Trumbull and Woodbury. Call 426-2563 for more information.
