BOYS U8

Werewolves 2, Blazing Blizzards 1 – Matthew Wood and Matt Rosa scored goals to lift the ‘Wolves to the win. Carter Nordman had a great all around game and Brandon Unger was tough in goal. Miguel Rodriquez scored for the Blizzards while Henry Summ was tough on defense and Harry Duffy was outstanding in goal.

Goldenhawks 3, Wizards 1 – Matthew Maturo scored three times to lift the Goldenhawks to the win. John Carlson had an assist and James Barry played well in goal, For the Wizards, Eric Street scored. Nic Klein did a great job at midfield and Conner Hanley played excellent defense.

Goldenhawks 1, Team (#14) 0 – Matthew Maturo scored the lone goal for the Goldenhawks while Matthew Janco did a fine job on defense and in goal. Thomas Meier was also excellent on defense. For Team #14, Joe Anastasi and Harry Duffy did a superb job defensively and Andrew Svanda played a great game.

Tigers 4, Blue Thunder 2 – Wesley Morlock, Connor Gallagher and Austin Raftery scored to lift the Tigers, who were playing without Carey deYoung, victim of the Halloween costume fire. Paul O’Leary and Daniel Hamula played well. For the Thunder, Chris Zakur and Nick Cirone scored the goals as Peter Manfredonia played solid in goal and Sawyer Conrad had a good game at midfield.

Wolverines 4, Huskies 3 – Charlie Poarch scored three goals to lead the Wolverines to the win. Gentian Limani added a goal, Luke Mammen played well in goal, and Arnav Singh played solid defense. For the Huskies, Michael Parker, Alex Gerbo and Owen Gaston each scored a goal and Jared Brady played well overall.

GIRLS U8

Ball Hogs 3, Thunderbolts 0 – Sarah Lynch scored twice for the Ball Hogs and Anna Northrop also scored a goal in their final game this fall. Jillianne Lyon played well on offense and defense and Taryn Mcleary played great as well. Danielle Shine played great on offense and defense for the Thunderbolts. Michelle Zarifis played well on defense and Claire Hebert was strong in goal.

Panthers 2, Bulldogs 0 – Angela Hallili scored a pair of goals to lift the Panthers. Ashley Marks was very strong on offense for the Panthers while Olivia Korth and Taylor Lafave were very strong defensively. For the Bulldogs, Aine Duffy and Hope McMorran played well in goal. Samantha Kruczak and Tanner Tardie had solid performances.

Cheetah Champions 3, Panthers 1 – Lindsay Jagoe, Cassandra Fischer and Karlie Kuligowski all scored to lead the Cheetahs to the win. Abigail Kuligowski played very well in goal while Gabrielle DeBartolomeo was outstanding on defense. For the Panthers, Olivia Korth and Ashley Marks played well.

Cheetah Champions 4, Shooters 1 – Karlie Kuligowski, Lindsey Jagoe, Cassandra Fischer and Kimberly Brello all scored to lead the Cheetahs to the win. Christina DeBartolomeo and Alexis Rodriguez had fine performances. For the Shooters, Victoria Madden scored while Elizabeth Helmig and Ryan Cassin had good games.

Cheetah Champions 2, Huskies 0 – Abigail Kuligowski and Karlie Kuligowski scored the goals to lead the Cheetahs to the win. Alexis Rodriguez and Anneliese Thomas played well. For the Huskies, Sarah Craig, Samantha Cannavo and Aileen Sheluck had strong games.

Shooting Stars 4, Strikers 0 – Meaghan Brophy scored two goals while Maggie Kost and Kailee Dunnigan each added a score to lead the Stars. Megan Milano had a great all around game. For the Strikers, Helene Sorenson and Meghan Grimes hustled on offense while Catherine Neave and Mary Kate Sandler were very good on defense.

GIRLS U10

Metrostars 1, Firefeet 0 – Michaela Beaudry scored on an assist from Courtney Beckett to lead the ‘Stars to the win. Courtney Yapp was tough on defense and Ashley Beckett was aggressive on attack. For the ‘Feet, Emily Dion was strong in goal as Mikaela McGuire, Danielle Wandel and Danielle Kucky had strong performances.

Metrostars 2, Blaze 1 – Celeste Cheung and Ally Brazo scored goals with assists from Randi Jackson and Meaghan Harkins to lead the Stars to the win. For the Blaze, Justina Paproski scored the goal with an assist from Margo Trainer. Alicia Carafiello was strong on defense and Fifi Roxie kept the ball protected in the zone.

Blaze 4, Firekickers 2 – Justina Paproski scored two goals and Olive Rowley scored once to lead the Blaze to the win. Alecia Carrafiello played great on defense. For the ‘Kickers, Dana Bowers scored both goals. Jennifer Van Veen and Lindsay Jossick were brilliant on offense while Maria Biondi was super on defense.

Mighty Tigers 1, Jawbreakers 1 – Mallory Reilly of the Tigers and Madeline Dorso of the Jawbreakers scored the goals in this 1-1 deadlock. For the Tigers, Alyssa Finkenstadt had an assist, Alexa Powell was solid on offense, and Claire Bernson and Abby Hungaski had great games. For the ‘Breakers, Claire Miles had a good game while Sarah Stofko, Megan O’Connell and Rebecca Silveira all played well in goal.

BOYS U10

Mud Monkeys 5, Wolverines 1 – Yossi Kohrman-Glaser scored two goals as Jimmy Mooney and Niles Wilson chipped in one goal apiece to lead the Monkeys to the win. Ryan Moyer was outstanding in the goal. For the Wolverines, Trevor Carey scored the goal as Adam Oelberg was strong on defense and Weston Tardie and Thomas Healy both had solid games.

GIRLS U14

Rapids 4, Huskies 0 – Ashley Leifels scored twice as the Rapids rolled. Emily Audet and Samantha Whitley added goals while Courtney Berko and Kaitlin Marsden were solid in the midfield. For the Huskies, Kristen Tassinari, Alexandra Grant and Anna Charea Pauento played well.

Riptide 5, Pink Ladies 1 – Rachel Taback scored two goals as Maura Gissen, Megan McGowan and Jill Spies each scored one to lead the ‘Tide. Katelin Vayan had an outstanding game on defense. For the Ladies, Meghan Bridges scored a goal as Kyra Smith, Jenna Bonaccorso, Amanda Sweat, and Brooke Vazzano had excellent games.

Turkeys 4, Mud Monkeys 1 – Olivia Dillon, Lisa Favicchia, Erica Woloszywski and Tori Boushell each scored a goal to lead the Turkeys over the Monkeys. For the Monkeys, Mara Scallon scored the lone goal while Jessica McDonald and Emily Floros play well in defense.

BOYS U14

Pink Woodchucks 3, Team (#5) 2 – Dan Kowarick scored two goals and Timmy Lacouture added another to lead the Woodchucks. The defense was anchored by Michael Hajzer and Brian White. Joshua Gilbert, Tom Capozziello, Brian Grimes and Andrew Bonvini played great at midfield.

GIRLS U10

Brookfield 2, Newtown 1 – Samantha Salvatore scored the lone goal while Tressa Scott, Jenna Hindes, Kristiana Engler and Morgan Kirol kept the Flash in the game. In goal, Melissa Buccino turned away four shots in a strong defensive effort.

BOYS U10

Cobras 2, New Fairfield 0 – Eric Fiore, Francis Saraceni and Nick Barreto were outstanding on both sides of the field as the Cobras nailed down the win. Noah Sock and Keegan Lombard led the defense, with fine midfield play by Dan Bittman. The goals were scored by Christain Mather, both from great assists by Connor Quinn. Sean Elliott and Matt Rahtelli had their fifth combined shutout in net.

GIRLS U11

Power 2, Danbury 2 – Leah Barrett and Ali Korchman scored for the Power in a 2-2 tie with Danbury. Christina Naldini, Abbie Keogh, and Brooke Leifels played solid defense.

Power 1, Danbury 0 – Ali Korchman scored the lone goal with an assist from Molly Mahony. Cassie Fallon and Maddie Keane played well at midfield. Kendall Svanda earned the shutout.

Power 2, Woodbury 1 – Meaghan Carney and Ali Korchman scored to lead the Power to the win. Korchman and Kendall Svanda had assists. Ale Fuentes, Christina Caporale, and Nicole Davis played well at midfield. Kelley Gaston played solid defense.

BOYS U11

Crusaders 7, Wolcott 1 – Sean Burson and Chris McGowan scored two goals each with Ryan Dunnigan, Hank Helgren, and Josh Barrett each bringing in one to lead the Crusaders. Adam Ellison and Justin Brophy provided solid midfield support. Austin Puleri was awesome in the goal.

BOYS U12

Brookfield 4, Strikers 0 – Nick Wright, Alex Miller and Kyle Wildman were solid on offense but the Strikers fell for the first time. Michael Carrafiello, Daniel Hufziger, Mike Gould and Aaron Nezvesky all played well. The Strikers ended the fall season with a record of 6-1-1.

BOYS U13

Newtown 6, New Milford 2 – Adam Buccino scored a pair of goals while Danny Clement, Nabha Bropleh, Ben Miles and Matt Baier all scored one to lead Newtown to the win. Ben Mahony, Matt Slattery, Dan Greenwood, and Eric Keogler played very strong games.

GIRLS U13

Rampage 3, Watertown 1 – Sara Kelley, Kirsten Hudock and Becky Carrafiello all scored goals as the Rampage defeated Watertown. Adding pressure were Venessa Richards and Ashley Kuligowski. Hannah Basch-Gould and Jordan Good were tough on defense holding Watertown to only one goal.

GIRLS U14

Hurricanes 3, Torrington 0 – Kasey Schulz scored three goals to lead the Hurricanes to the win. Goalie Emily Kluga had an assist and helped to preserve the shut out. Kelley Sullivan added an assist. The Hurricanes controlled the game thanks to the play of mid-fielders Erin Nemeth, Danielle Norris and Kelley Anne Carney.
