Adele Moros To Offer Free Painting Demo For SCAN
The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown will host an acrylic painting demonstration by Adele Moros of Bethel on Wednesday, December 1, at 1:30 pm.
Ms Moros will be painting a landscape using a photo reference. She will put emphasis on good composition when composing from photographs.
The program is open to the public free of charge. It will be presented in the lower meeting room of Newtown Meeting House, 31 Main Street (Route 25, at the flagpole) in Newtown.
Adele Moros is a multi-media artist whose works are included in over 600 private collections. She paints everything from miniatures to murals. Her training includes studies at The Phoenix School, Parsons School of Design, and Silvermine School of Art, as well as workshops with numerous regional artists.
Ms Moros is an artisan with The International Guild of Miniature Artists and this year won her fellowship with that organization. In June this year she won Best in Show at The Hospice Show with a miniature painting. She was also featured in the November issue of Miniature Collector Magazine.
Ms Moros is the director of Bethel Arts Junction and participated in the New York City Cows on Parade exhibit in 2000. Her cow, âTiffany Cow,â was the top seller in that benefit event.
