Opening Concert Of Holiday Tour Will Be Dec. 1

BROOKFIELD — The Brookfield High School Chorus, under the direction of M. Carl Herminot, has spent much of the current semester preparing for their Annual Holiday Concert tour, which begins at The Brookfield Museum and Historical Society on Wednesday December 1, at 7:30 pm.

The first Wednesday in December has for years marked the time the chorus gives its opening performance in the historical society museum, located at the corner of routes 25 and 133 in Brookfield Center. The group will subsequently be performing at other public venues within the Danbury area throughout the holiday season.

This year’s performance will include a variety of classical mixed with traditional and contemporary holiday sounds, concluding with the traditional “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s Messiah.
