GOP Holiday Fundraiser

The Newtown Republican Fundraising Committee met at the home of Jim and Marie Smith this week to finalize plans for their upcoming Holiday Fundraiser.

They will be attending âMrs Bob Cratchitâs Wild Christmas Bingeâ at the New Milford Theatreworks on Saturday, December 6.

It promises to be a fun filled family evening with refreshments. Anyone wishing to attend., please contact Barbara Bloom at 270-7703.

Schools could be consolidated here as enrollment decreases. And some 'luxury' programs should be trimmed. Downsizing administrators and support staff should be considered as well. And a 'few hundred' dollars on top of inflation is a bridge too far.
