Christmas Production

NEW CANAAN — After a five-year hiatus, The Town Players of New Canaan have decided to revive “An Old-Fashioned Christmas.”

The show features actors, seated on a set decorated with a gaily trimmed Christmas tree and glowing fire, reading a selection of favorite Christmas stories with the audience joining in the singing of carols and songs, accompanied by pianist Jamie Kaye.

Tickets are $5, which includes refreshments. The show is recommended for ages 7 and up.

The special performance this year will be offered on Sunday, December 17, at 3 pm, at The Powerhouse in Waveny Park, on Route 124 (3/10 of a mile from Merritt Parkway Exit 37).
