To the Editor:

This past weekend I had so much to be grateful for.  After spending the Thanksgiving holiday with my family, on Sunday, I was sworn in to serve on Newtown's Legislative Council representing District 1.

I want to express my most heartfelt gratitude to the voters who showed confidence that I will repre-sent their best interests, and to my friends and supporters who advocated for my being seated in this post. I will do my very best as I endeavor to serve the people of Newtown and the wonderful community we are part of.
