‘B Is For…’ Composers

DANBURY — Danbury Music Centre will sponsor a performance of Danbury Community Orchestra, under the direction of Stephen Michael Smith, on Sunday, December 4, at 3 pm, at Ives Concert Hall, 181 White Street.

The concert is titled “B Stand for ….” Composers being featured are Beethoven, Borodin, Bizet and Bartok.

The free concert will serve as an introduction to live classical music for people of all ages, especially children and teenagers.

Danbury Community Orchestra is a 75-piece orchestra comprised of talented teenagers and adults from the greater Danbury area. Admission to the orchestra is by audition.
