Jennifer Zdziarski canned 16 points and pulled down 16 rebounds as Walsh Logging moved to 4-0 in The Gym at Newtown Women’s Basketball League with a recent 54-43 win over Colorgraphics.

Jennifer Dayton added 14 points and eight boards while Lisa Schang contributed 16 points and 13 rebounds. For Colorgraphics, Maura Keenan had 21 points and 22 rebounds while Rachel McGrath and Alex Heron combined for 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Kim Lowell popped in 14 points to lead Dr Gellert to its first win, a 59-42 win over winless Newtown Mobil. Holly Ferguson added 11 points while Jody Rajcula grabbed 10 rebounds. For Newtown Mobil, Amy Proulx and Laurie Bain canned 11 points apiece and combined for 12 rebounds. Lynn Yeager added 10 points while Karen Katrinak dropped in eight.

The Gym at Newtown defeated Alpine Realty, 67-49, as Jamie Murphy and Jennifer Thomas combined for 32 points and 37 rebounds. Mel Darrah chipped in 11 points while Christy Hardy added nine points (including a three-pointer) and six boards. For Alpine, Shelby Neveriski poured in 18 points as Kelly Fengler added 17 more. Tori Anderton chipped in 12 points and nine boards.
