Eleanor Anna Shufelt Ciaccia, 75, of Brookfield, died November 23. She was born in Wallingford, Vt., November 11, 1936, to Anna and Harris Shufelt.

Survivors include a daughter, Wendy Eurell, and her husband John, and a son, Wayne Ciaccia, and his wife Cindy, all of Newtown; and a sister, Barbara Stalling. She leaves behind five granddaughters and two great-granddaughters.

Mrs Ciaccia absolutely loved working for the R.C. Bigelow Tea Company in Fairfield, as a customer service representative, for more than 30 years. She enjoyed crafts and loved to write poetry, even getting some work published. She also loved shopping, and probably her favorite pastime was buying many, many gifts for her family on birthdays and Christmas.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 pm, Sunday, December 11, at Trinity Church, 36 Main Street, Newtown.

The Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, is serving the family.
