Book Discussion Of ‘Single Shard’

The CH Booth Library Young Adult Department will host a book discussion on Single Shard, by Linda Sue Park, for readers in grades 5–8 on Wednesday, December 15, from 4 to 5 pm in the Story Room.

Single Shard, winner of the 2002 Newberry Medal, tells the story of Tree-Ear, a 13-year-old orphan in medieval Korea, who becomes fascinated with the potter’s craft.
