Heather E. Heyburn, 35, of Waterbury, died unexpectedly November 26 at her parentsâ home in Middle Granville, N.Y.
Heather was born in Berlin, Vt., on July 11, 1969, the daughter of Malcolm and Eloise (Townsend) Heyburn of Middle Granville. She was a graduate of Newtown High School, Class of 1987, and Bay Path Junior College, Longmeadow, Mass., Class of 1989.
Heather was employed as a project engineer for Haynes Construction Company of Seymour. She was a member of the Second Company Governors Horse Guard.
Besides her parents, Heather is survived by her sister, Gaye Heyburn-Frechte and her husband Walter of Palmer, Mass.; her brother, Mark Heyburn of Newburgh, N.Y.; and several, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Saturday, December 4, in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Suffield.
Friends may call Saturday from 9 to 10 am.
The family has suggested memorials be in the form of contributions to the Second Company Governors Horse Guard, PO Box 671, Newtown CT 06470.
