Campus Notes

Several Newtown residents made the first marking period honors list at the Canterbury School in New Milford. Meridith Palo, a freshman and daughter of Richard and Beverly Palo, received High Honors. Making Honors were junior Scott Grant, son of Stephen and Susan Grant; sophomore Sarah Wilson, daughter of Greg and Carole Wilson; and seniors Timothy Murtha, son of Tom and Mary Ann Murtha, and Martin Schnurr, son of Martin and Susan Schnurr of Sandy Hook.

Michelle Matschke, daughter of Rick and Marilyn Matschke, was recently accepted into the class of 2008 at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I. Michelle plans to major in equine science.
