Dear Mr Droppo,

When members of the greater Newtown community drive up and down Main Street this Friday evening (12/5) to see it dressed in its glowing best, they will realize how much work the residents have done to prepare this “festival of lights” for our pleasure. And when everyone gathers at Ram Pasture for the annual tree lighting, we will all enjoy the luminaria around the pasture and the pond, remembering that the Chamber of Commerce, the Parks and Recreation Department employees, and many volunteers have contributed their efforts to the celebration.

What most people won’t know is that Curtis Packaging has played a big part in supporting this year’s Tree Lighting and Luminaria Event by donating 3,000 custom-designed luminaria boxes. On behalf of the Town of Newtown and all those who will see our town aglow once again on this “night of nights,” thank you for your generosity and kindness. Thank you for being such a good neighbor to your town.

Gratefully yours,

Joy Kopesky

on behalf of

The Luminaria Committee of Newtown
