Ella Ann      Ambrogio

Ella Ann Ambrogio, 73, of Greenwich, died on December 1 at Greenwich Hospital.

Born in Port Chester, N.Y., on December 4, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Ellen Angeley Carriero.

Mrs Ambrogio is survived by two sons, Anthony Ambrogio of Sandy Hook, and John Ambrogio of Greenwich; a daughter, Denise Warzoha, of Greenwich; one brother Joseph Carriero, of Greenwich; one sister, Rose Caruso, of Greenwich; and seven grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Carmen Ambrogio in 2001, and by two brothers, Carlo and Frank Carriero, and by a sister, Peggy Piper.

She attended Port Chester High School. She was a member of the AARP Chapter 25, and the Viennese Society. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 5, at 10 am, in St Roch Church in Greenwich. Burial will be in St Mary Cemetery, Greenwich. Calling hours are Thursday, from 3 to 5 pm and from 7 to 9 pm, at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Avenue, Greenwich.
