Joan M. Warner

Joan M. Warner, 71, of Ocala, Fla., died November 12 in West Marion Community Hospital, Ocala, Fla.

Mrs Warner was born in White Plains, N.Y., May 11, 1932, a daughter of the late Charles and Maude (Ackerman) Wright. She was a former longtime resident of Derby and was a supervisor for the Farrell Corporation until her retirement.

She is survived by three daughters: Linda Warner of Sandy Hook, Gail Conway of Roxbury, and Hilary Warner of Bethlehem; a brother, Roger Wright of East Lyme; a sister, Muriel Anderson of Hawthorne, N.Y.; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service was held December 4 in the Newtown Congregational Church, 14 West Street, Newtown. Interment followed in Newtown Village Cemetery.
