Kelly Fegler poured in 24 points and pulled down 12 rebounds as Imagine This handed Colorgraphics its second loss of the season, 68-62, in The Gym At Newtown’s Women’s Basketball League.

Shelby Neveriski of Imagine This led all scorers with 36 points and eight steals. Nancy Bowen chipped in with four points while Amanda Morici and Bonnie Willie contributed two points each. For Colorgraphics, Maura Keenan, Karen Powell, Collen Ruiz and Denise Passano combined for 56 points. Keenan pulled down 15 rebounds while Karen Powell grabbed seven. Michele Smith dropped in six points and had a strong defensive game.

Denmo’s defeated The Gym at Newtown, 60-43, as Kim Lowell dropped in six points in an important late-game run. Lowell finished with 10 points. Holly Ferguson had a strong game with 24 points, three steals, and five rebounds. Jody Rajcula added 14 points and 14 rebounds.

Then Newtown Mobil defeated Walsh Logging, 61-42, in the final game of the night. Lynn Lattanzio had an excellent game with 25 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks and a steal. Charlotte DuBail came through the second half with 14 points and Amy Proulx added 12 points. Karen Katrinak and Sandy Doski combined for 10 points. For Walsh Logging, Ruth Rowe knocked down 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Joanne Duncanson chipped in with eight points while Tracy Paella and Megan Lacava contributed four each.

Ferguson canned 32 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Denmo’s defeated Newtown Mobil, 56-38. Rajcula chipped in with 14 points and 12 rebounds while Laura Cook had a strong game with eight points and tough defense. For Mobil, Lattanzio had 18 points and 11 rebounds as DuBail chipped in with 12 points and Doski had a strong game with four steals, six assists, four rebounds and four points. Katrinak added four points.

Walsh Logging handed Colorgraphics its first loss of the season, 54-51. Rowe poured in 27 points with eight rebounds and three steals. LaCava added eight points while Heidi and Tracy each chipped in with seven points. For Colorgraphics, Keenan had 18 points and 12 rebounds as Ruiz canned 12 points. Passano added 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Powell and Smith combined for 10 points.

Imagine This defeated The Gym at Newtown, 70-52, as Neveriski scored 34 points with seven rebounds and five steals. Suzanne Marsan had a strong game with 16 points and several steals. Fegler chipped in with 12 points and 14 rebounds, two steals and two assists and Mangold added six points.
