Job Well Done

To the Editor:

Congratulations and thank you to the players and coaches of the Newtown High School football team. You had a great season. One of only 24 teams that earned the privilege to play in a state play-off game. We were not the victors last night, but you did Newtown proud.

It has been an extraordinary pleasure to watch all of you develop both on and off the field. We are going to miss you.... How may more months before next season?
