The Commons at Newtown, the assisted living community at 139 Toddy Hill Road, is planning a fundraising event for The Alzheimer’s Association.

The inaugural Festival of Wreaths is scheduled for Thursday, December 12, from 4 to 7 pm. The public is invited to shop among vendors including representatives from Emily Shaw Designs, FloraCreate, Limelife, Paparazzi Jewelry, Partylite, Pure Romance, Twisted Branch Oil & Vinegar, Usborne Books, Visiting Angels Holiday Grams, and Will Collection. There will also be a collection of handmade fabric ornaments to shop from.

In addition, there will be an auction of wreaths, raffle baskets, and refreshments.

Suggestion donation is $10 per person.
