Students at Fraser Woods Montessori School participated in a school-wide assembly prior to Thanksgiving on the morning of Wednesday, November 27.

The children sang seasonal songs, like a tune that included lyrics, “One-by-one we count our blessings,” while gathered around the table.

During the ceremony, Head of School Chris Robertson shared a few inspirational words with the students before having a group moment of silence.

After the time to reflect, the eighth-grade students distributed napkins and a variety of freshly baked bread to all the students, as is tradition at Fraser Woods around Thanksgiving.

The students spent the rest of the assembly breaking bread with one another before going back to their classrooms for the school day.
