Maureen         Gleason

Maureen Gleason, 64, formerly of Newtown, died on November 23 at her home in Inverness, Fla. She was the beloved wife of Bob Gleason.

Maureen was born November 25, 1939, in Secaucus, N.J., to Ed and Muriel Cimler.

She was a true entrepreneur, who over the course of her career owned art galleries, a motorcycle dealership, and a Re/Max real estate office. She was truly a person who inspired the best in everyone she touched.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Gleason of Inverness; her son, Greg Pomparelli of Bonita Springs, Fla.; her daughter, Barbara Whitlock and her husband Ken of Concord, Mass.; her brother, Ed Cimler and his wife Melina of Chicago, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; and three stepsons.

There will be a memorial service at 2 pm on Saturday, December 11, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 81 Elm Street, Concord, Mass.
