Barbara Snyder Joins Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y., has welcomed Newtown resident Barbara Snyder to the Newtown office. As a sales associate, Ms Snyder will provide residential real estate services in Newtown, Monroe, Brookfield, and Redding.
With nine years of experience in the residential real estate industry, Ms Snyder has been a consistent top selling and listing agent in 2011.

Ms Snyder is certified to successfully assist homeowners with short sale transactions. She is a member of the Newtown Board of Realtors, Connecticut Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
In addition to her involvement with professional organizations, Ms Snyder has dedicated much of her time supporting nonprofit organizations that assist children with disabilities and their families. She is involved in Special Olympics of Connecticut and Ability Beyond Disability, a Bethel-based organization that supports people with physical and mental disabilities.
She has been recognized for her efforts and community involvement with several awards, including the Association for Retarded Citizensâ Education Award, the Michele Ridge Community Partnership Award, and the Communities in Schools Distinguished Partnership Award.
Ms Snyder attended Middlebury College in Vermont. Prior to becoming a licensed realtor, Ms Snyder served as the executive director for a nonprofit organization in Pennsylvania. Early in her career, She was an assistant production manager at Vogue magazine and later produced the first New Yankee Workshop Books for WGBH in Boston.
