Saturday Is Delivery Day

The Newtown Fund will hold its annual delivery day for the Holiday Basket Program on Saturday, December 20, at Sandy Hook School.

Anyone who has food and gifts to donate should drop them off at the school by 9 am. Delivery will begin by noon.

Volunteer packers and drivers are needed. Call Rick Mazzariello at 270-9190 or just show up.

The Newtown Junior Woman’s Club held its Tag-A-Gift project for children’s gifts in conjunction with the Holiday Basket Program to ensure that a holiday meal and gifts are provided for local residents who are in need.
