CAPE MAY, N.J. — The Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts presents, “Antiques in the Winter,” which features high quality antiques, bringing many of the region’s most sought-after antique dealers to Cape May from 10 am to 5 pm, Sunday, February 20, at Cape May Convention Hall, Beach Drive, Stockton Place. Show includes country antiques, glassware, silver, small furniture, vintage clothing and more. Admission is $3.50 for adults and children under 12 are free. CAPE MAY, N.J. — The Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts presents, “Cape May’s Designer Show House.” A 1913 Arts and Crafts style house has been completely redecorated as Cape May’s first Designer Show House, at 800 Washington Street, which features more than 20 spaces including a full basement renovation, a two-car garage, chauffeur’s quarters above the garage, a master bedroom with walk-in closet, and a gorgeous living room with original light fixtures and ceramic tile fireplace. “Cape May’s Designer Show House” is open daily April 22–July 31. Highlights include historic house tours, which showcase the unparalleled collection of famous restored Victorian bed and breakfast inns, guesthouses and hotels that are the signature of this national historic landmark city. Featured activities also include: private homes tours, murder mystery dinners, antiques and crafts shows, Victorian fashion shows, glass blowing demonstrations on the lawn of the 1879 Emlen Physick Estate, brass band concerts, workshops, tours and lectures. “Victorian Week” runs Friday through Sunday, October 7 to 16.
