Paul Andrew Knapp

Paul Andrew Knapp, 84, of Lake Wales, Fla., died on February 25 in his residence.

 He was the father of Jeffrey Knapp of Sandy Hook.

He was born on December 24, 1915, in Hackensack, N.J., and was a resident of Florida for 25 years. He previously lived in Fairfield. Mr Knapp was an independent businessman and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Army. For many years he served as editor of the Saddlebag Lake Express.

Survivors also include his wife, Ruth V. Knapp of Lake Wales; a daughter, Joann Knapp of West Hartford; another son, Paul A. Knapp, Jr, of Fairfield; one brother, Otto Knapp of Bogota, N.J.; and five grandchildren.

Cremation is scheduled. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Christian Science Society, 1550 Burns Avenue, Lake Wales, FL 33853, or First Aid Committee, Saddlebag Lake Resort, Lake Wales, FL.
