RIDGEFIELD â The Ridgefield Workshop for the Performing Arts is presenting The Taffetas, a musical journey through the fabulous Fifties as seen through the eyes of a female doo-wop singing group. Arranged and conceived by Rick Lewis and directed by Bradford Blake, The Taffetas features Pawlingâs Juliette Garrison and Danbury residents Fiona Crowley, Diana Matson and Priscilla Squires.
Performances are March 17 through April 8. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8:30 pm, with Sunday matinees at 4:30 pm. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students and seniors.
The theatre has cabaret style seating, and the doors will open an hour before each performance, giving audience members the chance to enjoy dinner or a snack prior to the show. Picnic-style feasts are encouraged.
