Coldwell Bankers real estate professionals are hosting a free seminar at the C.H. Booth Library, Tuesday, May 5, from 7 to 8:15 pm. âNavigating Todayâs Real Estate Marketâ will provide advice to buyers and sellers in the local housing market.
The program is a sort of âReal Estate 101â according to Coldwell Banker agent Joan Salbu, one of several agents who will be on hand that evening to answer questions, along with other real estate specialists.
Newtown Coldwell Banker broker and sales manager Karen Alpi, mortgage consultant Kim Mraz from NE Moves, appraiser Michael Magyar of MCM Appraisals, and home inspector John Koch will discuss current market conditions and trends, how to prepare a home for sale, the criteria banks look at when appraising a property, current mortgage availability and the application process, and the ins and outs of home inspections.
