DANBURY â Karen Unger and Harriet Mosatche, the co-authors of Too Old for This, Too Young for That, will offer a free parentsâ workshop on Sunday, March 4, at 3 pm. The women will be speaking at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Danbury Square Mall, 15 Backus Avenue.
Parents of 11 to 15-year-olds are invited to listen while Ms Unger and Ms Mosatche explain many of the physical and emotional changes and social and academic challenges all middle school kids face. From pimples and puberty to dealing with test stress and juggling multiple teachers, the authors reassure readers that this confusion and weirdness of middle school is something that is not only normal, but happening to everyone else, too.
The authors will be available to sign copies of their books following the presentation.
