Mrs Attanasioâs Class
In Mrs Attansaioâs class they are planning their poetry party. They are turning their classroom into âGreenhouse.â They are going to have plants all around their room. In science they are talking about the sun, the moon, and the stars. Each student is making an independent research on either one of those topics. They continue careful observations about spring. They are talking about maps, how they are made, and what they are used for. There are two birthdays in April in Mrs Attanasioâs class. Their names are Michael Shannon and Samantha Wray!
Mrs Lejaâs Class
The class is planting seeds. The students get to pick which flower they want to plant out of several different types. The class made shadow boxes on their choice of animal. Then they would write a report on that animal. In math they are talking about tens and ones. They are writing stories in computer lab. The class made butterflies and baskets for eggs for Easter. They also made cuckoo clocks. In health they are talking about exercise. On their board they have a poster of different exercises. Mrs Leja has a birthday in April and so do two classmates, Madeline and Melany.
Mrs Maringolaâs Class
The students are learning how to tell time and are getting ready for a spring celebration. They are making egg baskets for Easter. They are learning about all the animals that come from eggs. There are four birthdays this month. There is one birthday each week. They are all turning seven. The class has a new student named Shaun.
Mrs Mishicoâs Class
They are talking about safety and health helpers. They are practicing dialing 911 and what they would say in an emergency. They are reading about clouds and about how clouds affect our weather. In math they are telling time like Mrs Maringolaâs class. They are reading and writing about our five senses. In computer lab they have been writing stories. Richard, Hanah, and Anne all have birthdays this month.
Mrs Smithâs Class
Like Mrs Mishicoâs class they have been working on a health unit. They have learned who is a health helper and how is a safety helper. They are also practicing dialing 911 to get help in emergencies. Everyone is waiting to get answers to their letters that they sent to a character in a book. Mr Roodhuyzenâs class is pretending they are that character and writing back to them. Mrs Smith is very proud of the way the children are reading on their own.
