Bach Soloists In Ridgefield, April 8

RIDGEFIELD —On Saturday, April 8, the New England Bach Soloists will present a concert at St Stephen’s Church at 8 pm. The program will be all music of J.S. Bach, including some of the ensemble’s own transcriptions.

The New England Bach Soloists, led by Doug Myers, is a mixed chamber music group comprised of six players from all the instrumental families: trumpet and horn, oboe and English horn, violin and viola, cello as well as harpsichord. The group presents lively and informal concerts with informative comments by the players about the music and the instruments.

Admission to Saturday night’s concert is $15, $10 for seniors, and $5 for students. St Stephen’s Church is at 351 Main Street (Route 35) in Ridgefield. For additional information, call Doug Myers at 794-1984.
