Cynthia Pellegrino

Cynthia Aasen Pellegrino, 48, of Newtown, died September 7, in Danbury. She

was the wife of James Pellegrino.

Mrs Pellegrino was born in Seattle, Wash., on September 29, 1946, a daughter

of Wilhelm and Viola Brudvig Aasen of Seattle, Wash.

She was a member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by a step-daughter, Cindy

Roberts; a brother, Roger W. Aasen of Washington state; two sisters, Mary

Ellen Dorsey of Washington state, and Tina M. Aasen of California.

Services were held September 10, at the Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home in

Seattle, Wash.

Arthur Potter

Arthur W. Potter, 76, a resident of Nunnawauk Meadows, died September 7, at

the home of his daughter, Denise L. David of Sandy Hook. He was the husband of

the late Agnes Russell Potter.

He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on January 16, 1919, a son of Edwin and Esther

Langemin Potter.

He was a veteran of WWII, serving with the US Army as a radio operator.

Mr Potter had been employed as an electronic technician for the Veeco-Lambda

Electronics Corporation in Melville, Long Island, N.Y.

Mr Potter had lived in Newtown for the past three years; previously he had

lived in Bellmore, Long Island for many years.

He was a member of St Barnabus Roman Catholic Church in Bellmore, where he had

served as an usher.

Besides his daughter, he is survived by two grandchildren; two nieces and two

nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Contributions in his memory may be made to Regional Hospice, 87A Sand Pit

Road, Danbury 06810.

Services were held September 11, in St Barnabus Church in Bellmore, N.Y.

Burial was in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, Long Island, N.Y.
