Business Network Organizes
A Newtown chapter of Business Network International has been formed to help
businesses increase their marketing through networking. The group meets each
Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 am for breakfast at the Stony Hill Inn in Bethel.
The new officers are President Tony Leonardi of Sandy Hook, a financial
planner with Mutual Life Insurance Company in Darien; Vice President Debrah P.
Bacchiochi of Buckingham Financial Services in Danbury; and Treasurer Paul
Giles, who owns All Things Gourmet in Bethel.
"The whole purpose of the organization is to network with leads and referrals
to generate business," Mr Leonardi said. "We are looking for new members from
Newtown and the surrounding communities."
Unlike other business-oriented organizations, the Business Network allows only
one person from each profession to join a chapter. Mr Leonardi said he decided
to form a Newtown chapter after moving here recently and discovering that
other area chapters were full.
For more information, call Mr Leonardi at 270-7987 or at his Darien office,
(203) 656-1551.
