SNAPSHOT: BONNIE DiDOMIZIO
Occupation: I have been the assistant to the director of the Senior Center
since August of 1998. I lead the book discussion group, teach computer
lessons, write, type and mail out the newsletter, and try to make Marilyn's
[Place] job easier. I have a liberal arts degree from Northeastern.
How Long in Newtown: I have lived in Newtown for 16 years. I lived in Woodbury
before.
Biggest Change Seen in Town: The size of the town and number of people. It's
grown. Traffic, especially after two in the afternoon.
Family: My husband, Richard, and I have been married for 26 years. We have two
children. Our daughter, Ginger, is 24; our son, Richard, is 19.
Pets: I have a standard poodle named Pepper.
Hobbies: I like to read.
Favorite Books and Authors: I'm in a mystery phase right now. I like books by
Patricia Cornwell and John Grisham.
Favorite TV Show: Law and Order.
Organizations: I volunteer for the annual book sale of the Booth Library.
Most Vivid Memory About Newtown: We had a coyote run through our backyard
though nobody would believe us. We also had a family of raccoons in our stone
wall. The mother was so thin that we fed her dog food. She would come down
from a tree, take the food, and go back up in the tree. By the time we were
through, she wasn't thin anymore.
Favorite Vacation Spot: The seashore of Maine. I love some place that smells
of the ocean.
Personal Philosophy: Not to hurt anybody.
