Newtown Neighborhood Coalition Sets Regular Meeting Time

The Newtown Neighborhood Coalition, a grass-roots group that has been

exploring local land-use issues for the past two years, has set a regular

meeting time for members to gather and pool information.

"We hope this move will help our members who are very busy and need to know

there is a regular time for us to get together," said group spokesman Penny

Meek.

The next meeting is Tuesday, January 13, at 7:30 pm in the Edmond Town Hall

lower-meeting room. The public is invited to attend. All subsequent meetings

will be held the second Tuesday of every month at the same time and place.

Mrs Meek said that the group currently numbers approximately 80 individuals,

with 25 or 30 "strong core members." For more information, contact members
