Make A Decision On The Facts
Make A Decision On The Facts
To the Editor:
The budget failed to pass. This, combined with the informal Bee survey, are the only two bits of information on which to decide how to proceed. Overanalyzing is a waste of time.
When past budgets passed by as little as a 26-vote margin, there was little talk of turnout and whether it would have passed by a larger margin if it was lower. All this talk of low turnout etc belies the fact that the voters who did vote, rejected the townâs spending plan. If town leaders want more information on the sentiments of the voters, I refer them to The Beeâs informal referendum poll.
