AUSTINBURG, OHIO -- A two-day spring sale held by DeFina Auctions featured a

The top lot in the lamp category was a Victorian cranberry thumbprint hanging

non-electrified, made $1,430; a pink opalescent hobnail oil lamp, electrified,

sold for $1,980; and a pair of Van Briggle woman figural lamps of more recent

vintage, with old shades done in milkweeds, dried flowers and butterflies,

sold for $440.

A Victorian hanging lamp, with a shade that went from yellow to pink, complete

with floral decoration, was also offered. Set in a brass frame and having a

clear pattern glass font, it made $1,045. A satin glass hanging lamp, with a

painted floral shade and matching font set in an ornate jeweled brass

Victorian frame, came in at $990.

Furniture included an oak, s-rolltop desk, with raised panels and a full

scalloped top and burled skirt, made $550.

A French style writing desk, in mahogany, having a bevelled mirror between
