P&Z Concludes Hearing

The Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) has concluded a long-running hearing

on the Hemlock Hills residential subdivision proposal.

Joseph Dewhirst, and others, are the applicants for the Hemlock Hills

subdivision consisting of four lots on 32 acres, near Winesap Road and

Rockywood Drive in Sandy Hook.

Resident Joel Fitzgerald of 43 Great Ring Road introduced himself to P&Z

members December 19. Mr Fitzgerald said he would buy the property from the

developers if the P&Z approves the subdivision plan.

Mr Fitzgerald said he wants to build three houses on the land.

P&Z action on the development proposal is expected at the P&Z's January 2

session.
