Valerie E. Sarkozi

Valerie E. Varga Sarkozi, 87, of Sandy Hook died November 4 in Danbury

Hospital. She was the wife of William J. Sarkozi.

Mrs Sarkozi was born in Kassa, Hungary, and was a Sandy Hook resident for more

than 25 years. Previously, she was a resident of Westport and Fairfield.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Valerie S.

Sarason, Roberta T. Pothanszky and Suzanne R. Ettinger of Newtown; five

grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 7, at 11:15 am in the Larson Funeral

Home, 2496 North Avenue, Bridgeport, and at noon in St Emery's Church,

Fairfield. Burial will be in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield.

The family requests donations be made in memory of Mrs Sarkozi to the Newtown

Volunteer Ambulance Association, PO Box 344, Newtown, 06470.
