Several SCORE Webinars Coming To C.H. Booth Library
The C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street, offers a variety of events for patrons to explore and enjoy. Among those events are several SCORE, or the Service Corps of Retired Executives, webinars regarding marketing, referral networks, and using LinkedIn.
The first webinar of June is at 1 pm on Thursday, June 5. This webinar is called “Instagram Marketing for Your Business.” This webinar will teach businesses how to leverage Instagram's powerful platform to market and grow businesses. Attendees will explore the four key content formats on Instagram and show you how each can be strategically used to reach different audience segments and achieve specific marketing goals.
The next webinar will be on Tuesday, June 10, 1 pm, and it is “How to Create a Marketing Plan for Your Small Business.” Relating to the Instagram webinar, this focuses on how to create a marketing plan for business goals. A SCORE presenter will discuss how an effective marketing plan ensures that a business’ marketing efforts work towards a common objective and allocates resources efficiently.
On Thursday, June 12, 1 pm, the “How to Build a Referral Network for Your Business” webinar is scheduled. This webinar focuses on how to attract new customers and clients by creating a referral system that will bring in new leads. This webinar will show business owners how to ditch the cold outreach and expensive marketing tactics.
On Tuesday, June 17, 1 pm, SCORE is hosting the “Creating a Personalized AI Marketing Agent for Your Business” webinar. AI can be a powerful tool for small businesses if used correctly. While beginners struggle with generic AI prompts and repetitive instructions, experts are creating customized AI agents that understand their business needs, remember important details, and handle complex tasks automatically. In this SCORE webinar, participants can learn how to transform basic AI tools into personalized digital assistants that truly work for a business. SCORE will break down the entire process into five simple, actionable steps that anyone can follow, regardless of technical experience.
The last SCORE webinar of June will be on Tuesday, June 24 at 12 pm. This webinar is “LinkedIn for Nonprofits.” This informative SCORE workshop will delve into a research-based philosophy and strategies to create a LinkedIn profile that is geared towards viewers with average attention spans of about 7 seconds. Participants will get insights into the role of cognitive neuroscience and how the evolution of the “digital brain” is central to what and how people skim online content.
Participants will discover tips, tricks, and best practices for more strategically formatting a LinkedIn profile, optimizing the use of keywords, and distinguishing a personal brand to stand out.
