To The Editor:

Town & Country Garden Club would like to thank Sugo Gastrobar for its continued support by hosting its April 29 fund-raising event - only one of their many acts of kindness and widespread community involvement.

Members and friends enjoyed either lunch or dinner in Sugo’s beautiful, upscale but cozy environment, choosing from an extensive menu that has something for everyone and relaxing with the smooth, efficient and pleasant service from an experienced wait staff that, although very busy and on their feet for long hours, are always smiling and make it look easy.

Owner, Rick Rosario and Manager, Christine, were instrumental in organizing and assisting with this event but expressed that all of the credit for its success goes to their staff, Stephanie, John, Nicole, Elmer, Jim and Jazmin, who “wear many hats and work very hard to make the magic happen”. Christine went on to say that they treat all guests with grace, kindness and warmth (along with efficiency) which is what defines who Sugo really is - the smart foodies GO-TO place that offers warmth, hospitality and a trendsetting approach to fine cuisine.

Town & Country has been a staple of Newtown for 60 years, is the garden club that designs, plants and maintains the Borough's three traffic islands, promotes interest and education in horticulture, conservation and environmental concerns, assists and encourages civic and community programs, and offers monthly programs that are always open to the public. We welcome new members. For more information, go to www.TCgardenclub.org or contact Hillary Goldstein at hilljo107@gmail.com.

Visit Sugo Gastrobar, at 105 Church Hill Road, Sandy Hook for lunch, happy hour or dinner and watch them turn eating into an experience. Visit www.sugogastrobar.com for more information.
