To The Editor:

We are just two months shy of election day, and I find that the outcome of the local elections are becoming more and more critical to my way of life.

As the values and moral compass of the current White House administration conflict with my personal beliefs, I am most interested to know the opinions of those running for local office.

I always appreciate the information the Bee provides in allowing the candidates to present their histories, beliefs, and intentions in representing the citizens of Newtown.

I am suggesting that included in these statements, they share with the community their opinions regarding the Trump administration.

I also reached out twice via email to both Senator Hwang and Rep Bolinsky asking their opinions; my most recent message was sent over a week ago and I am awaiting a response. I am well aware that this is not an election year for them, but I am curious as to their political and moral stance
