Renee Weimann, Preserving The Past While Focusing On The Future
To The Editor:
Just because you are an incumbent does not mean you are capable of doing the job.
I am endorsing Renee Weimann for the position of Newtown Town Clerk in the November 4th Municipal Election.
Renee has been the Newtown Assistant Town Clerk for eighteen years and I have had the privilege of working beside her as Newtown Assistant Town Clerk for 13 years.
Renee has proven leadership. She’s earned her certification as a Town Clerk and is a certified Notary Public.
The Town Clerk has multiple duties mandated by the Connecticut State Statutes and the Town Charter. The Clerk’s office maintains public records, vital statistics, and play a key role in the election process, as well.
Renee has the ability to multi-task in a diverse and busy office. She is an integral part of the design and implementation of the town clerk’s website, which she updates on a daily basis. She oversees and posts the scheduled meetings, agendas, and minutes of the town commissions and committees, while handling daily recordings on the public land records.
Renee is responsible and reports to work tirelessly every day, and will continue to do so once elected.
Our municipal elections exist for the taxpaying citizens and voters. Let’s gather together and make the best-informed decision. Please join me and many of our neighbors in supporting a refreshing change.
Vote Renee Weimann, Tuesday, November 4th in the capacity of Newtown Town Clerk.
Sincerely,
Monica Stiewing Duhancik
Retired Assistant Town Clerk
Town of Newtown
Renee, Monica and I worked together for years as Assistant Town Clerks. Together we hoped to provide you with a positive, and even fun, experience and hoped you left satisfied and with a smile on your face. In these sometimes difficult times, please give Renée a chance to bring that back to the Town Clerks Office. Leaving with a smile on your face goes a long way and hopefully gets paid forward. Once again, good luck Renée! It’s time.
