To The Editor:

Paul Lundquist has been an involved advocate for Newtown for many years. As a businessman, he is practical and knows how to listen.

Most importantly, he acts and get things done for Newtown! Among the actions that I know of, he has been involved with the following: A member of the Fairfield Hills Master Plan Review Committee, was a member of and headed the Legislative Council for years, and conducted a Survey of Newtown Residents to help determine the issues that mattered to us back in 2007. When tragedy struck here, he, along with my wife, Suzy, helped found Sandy Hook Promise.

He is a no-nonsense actor who would, without question, provide nothing but benefit to our community if elected to the Board of Selectmen.
