We need Charlie Gardner on the Board of Selectmen. Charlie is smart, experienced and thoughtful. As an attorney, he brings a sharp analytical mind and a steady hand to the table; skills that are essential when navigating the challenges that come before our town. His background as a researcher has given him a deep understanding of land use and zoning regulations at both the local and state level, which will be invaluable as Newtown continues to grow and evolve.

His qualifications go beyond his professional skills, with his elected town positions including Vice Chair of the Legislative Council, member of the Board of Assessment Appeals and member of the Zoning Board of Appeals.

Charlie brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to every challenge. He’s not just a candidate, he’s a neighbor, a problem-solver, and a champion for the values that make Newtown special.
